New Hartford, NY – Sangertown Square and Feed Our Vets continues their partnership and will host a drive-thru food drive to benefit local veterans and their families.
The drive-thru food drive will be held on Saturday, December 4th from 10am – 2pm in the Sangertown Square parking lot by PiNZ. Volunteers will collect non-perishable food items for the Feed Our Vets pantry in New York Mills.
“This is Sangertown’s fifth year working with Feed Our Vets to help local veterans in our community.” said Victoria Orilio, Marketing Director for Sangertown Square. “Veterans and their families continue to face difficult times, and struggle to put food on their tables. This annual food drive assists local veterans during the holiday season.”
Food items in need include: ready-made meals, cereal, pasta, sauce, canned fruit, tuna, peanut butter, jelly, boxed potatoes, canned pasta, ramen, soups, boxed rice, granola bars, syrup, pancake mix, flour, olive oil, coffee, and more.
