Sangertown Square is presenting Bunny Cares on Sunday, April 2nd from 9am until 11am, welcoming children of all abilities and spectrums of special needs to a photo environment supportive of their sensory, physical and developmental needs. The sensory-friendly event will take place prior to public hours on Sunday, April 2nd from 9am until 11am, in a comforting and physically accommodating setting designed to lesson behavioral triggers.
The nationally recognized Bunny Cares event will take place at the Bunny Photo Experience in Center Court, in partnership with Autism Speaks, AbilityPath.org, and the Noerr Programs, a leading digital event imaging company providing the Bunny Photo Experience at venues across the nation.
“Many children with special needs never have the opportunity to experience the joy of meeting the Easter Bunny. That is why we participate in Bunny Cares, to create a welcoming environment. This private photo session with the Easter Bunny allows children with special needs and their families to visit with the Easter Bunny in a sensory friendly environment including quieter surroundings and no waiting in line,” said Victoria Orilio, Marketing Director at Sangertown Square.
“Bunny Cares fulfills our dream of providing a comforting and physically accommodating experience for families with children that have special needs,” said Judy Noerr, Noerr Programs CEO. “We appreciate the participation of Sangertown Square in supporting this heartwarming program, allowing more families to share the magic and tradition of the Easter holiday.”
