Sangertown Square’s Art Exhibit

Sangertown Square hosted its 3rd annual Art Exhibit featuring students from eleven local high schools on Monday, May 21st from 5pm – 7pm.

Artwork was displayed throughout Center Court. Over 40 local high school students from Brookfield, Central Valley Academy, Clinton, Dolgeville, FBC Home School Co-op, Herkimer, Holland Patent, Oriskany, Utica Academy of Science, Waterville and Whitesboro were showcased.

The community was invited to view the exhibit and vote for their favorites in eight categories, including, Drawing, Painting, Block Carving Print, Mixed Media, Photography, Sculpture, Charcoal, and Overall Favorite. Prizes were given out to the top 3 winners in the Overall Favorite Category. First place was Megan Ruffalo from Whitesboro High School, Second place was Anthony Rossi from Oriskany Central Schools, and third place was Amara Howard from Central Valley Academy.
