New Hartford, NY – Calling all youth baseball and softball players to Sangertown Square. The Blue Sox Academy is hosting softball camps and tryouts for the Junior Blue Sox in their state-of-the-art training facility.
Youths 14 years of age are welcome to tryout for a chance to join the 2021 Junior Blue Sox team. Tryouts will take place on January 30th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Blue Sox Academy in the Boscov’s Wing. Registrations can be made at uticabluesox.net/academy under Camps and Classes.
Softball players throughout the area are invited to work on their skills this winter and participate in pitching and/or hitting camps at Blue Sox Academy. Youths 8 – 18 years of age are welcome to join the softball camps instructed by Bryan Ingalls. Camps will take place every Saturday in February and will be broken up by age groups. Registrations can be made at uticabluesox.net/academy under Camps and Classes.
After tryouts or camp the Blue Sox Academy members and their families are invited to PiNZ to enjoy a free kid’s meal or appetizer, $20 Play Card, and more! Area baseball and softball players are welcome to experience Central New York’s Premier training facility as they safely prepare for the spring sport season.
Sangertown Square continues to take the necessary steps to ensure the safety of guests and employees by following guidelines issued by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), New York State and Oneida County. Masks and social distancing continue to be required to enter the property and guests are required to follow the center’s Healthy Shopper Guidelines.
