Pyramid Management Group, LLC is pleased to announce Boscov’s will open at Sangertown Square. Boscov’s, the Reading, PA based department store chain, is the largest family owned department store in the country with 44 locations in the Northeast. They will occupy over 171,000 square-feet mainly comprised of the former Sears location. Upon renovating the location, Boscov’s anticipates opening later this year in October.

“Boscov’s is a welcomed addition to the Pyramid portfolio and to Sangertown Square” said Stephen J. Congel, CEO of Pyramid Management Group. “We are excited to start this relationship with a fellow family-owned business and we are looking forward to a long enduring partnership with Boscov’s. They will be a great fit given their strong focus on great merchandise and outstanding customer service.   Boscov’s prides themselves on being a part of the local community and we think that our shoppers will appreciate that.”

The department store will include apparel and accessories for men, women, and children, home furnishings, toys, cosmetics, small appliances, and gourmet candy. The store will feature a community auditorium which will feature

famous entertainers, fashion shows, and various community events. Free gift wrapping services are available regardless of the items price.

“We’re excited to bring the fun and excitement of a Boscov’s to Sangertown Square. We’re grateful to the management team at Sangertown and Pyramid Management Group for their creative approach which made it possible for us to enter the Mohawk Valley area. We know that the values and exceptional service Boscov’s is known for will be a great fit here in Central New York,” said Jim Boscov, CEO of Boscov’s.

Boscov’s has a unique commitment to each of the local communities it calls home, and a long history of charitable programs and activities. The largest family-owned department store will continue its commitment to serve the local community and host non-profit organizations throughout the Mohawk Valley.

Sangertown Square and Boscov’s look forward to the Grand Opening celebration later this year in October.
